Keme Ix is a project developed based on the principles of Fractal Geometry and bioarchitecture. It is located in the Riviera Maya area, near the city of Chemuyil, between Tulum and Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
On one hectare of land, it is proposed to develop, in two phases, a harmonious complex focused on health and reconnecting with nature and subtle elements. An electromagnetic field study of the land was conducted to locate ideal areas for constructing buildings, as well as a study of auspicious orientations to determine the most suitable places for each space.
Based on a detailed analysis of the owners, the geometries to be used in the project were determined. Through cymatics, which transforms sound impulses into geometry; the study of the five elements from Eastern traditions; and other archaeo-astronomy studies, ideal dimensions and proportions were proposed in the design.
The conceptual and material geometry linking the entire development is the torus. The torus, like a donut, generates implosion and explosion movements that allow life. The architectural program in the first stage includes a boutique hotel with 10 rooms, restaurant, VIP lounge area, Reception, Shala, and Staff house. The second stage will include an Astronomical Exploration Tower, Art and Boutique Space, Chillout Space, Tiki Jungle, Glamping area, Temazcal, Sound Dome, Temple, and Labyrinth.
It is proposed to enhance the concrete structures with a mixture of piezoelectric and paramagnetic powders that will amplify the resonance of constructive wave frequencies throughout the space. This has been documented and measured for several years with extraordinary results. The use of local stone and wood helps us generate a neutral impact.
The Shala has a base geometry of seven. The heptad symbolizes the principle of virginity since it is not touched by numbers smaller than seven. It is the balancing number in the Decade, bridging the first six and the last three. 1x2x3x4x5x6x7=5040 is the same as 7x8x9x10=5040. And if we remove the 7 in both multiplications, the result is the same. 1x2x3x4x5x6=720 and 8x9x10=720. It is the mythical number of the birth of virginity in the Greek goddess Pallas Athena, the Virgin Mary for Christians, or the goddess Isis for Egyptians.
The origin of the name "A-tenea" means a-thanos where "thanos" is death and a-thanos is non-death or eternity. Only the seven-sided polygon presents infinite decimals. The heptad represents the diatonic musical scale of seven notes. The seven symbolizes the process of crystal systems; the seven stages of mitosis, cell duplication, when step number eight is reached, the process ends and a cell duplicates; the seven colors of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet), representing the seven planets, the seven liberal arts of medieval education (grammar, rhetoric, logic, arithmetic, geometry, music, astronomy); the system of seven Hindu chakras.
The hotel and reception were explicitly designed as a torus. Abstractions of this geometry elegantly and naturally form to enter the entire complex. The torus, with its undulating and organic forms, allows us to understand the primordial nature of the universe. As unified physics has shown, the link between the infinitely small and the infinitely large is a geometric matrix of fractal toroids that amplify and reduce based on the most important constant of the universe: the golden ratio or phi number: 1.618033.
